Momodou Alieu Bah, who is charged with a single count of the offense of assault, was yesterday granted a D20,000 bail bond.
He appeared before Magistrate AB Faal of the Kanifing Magistrate Court.
When the charge sheet was read to him, he pleads not guilty of the offense and he was granted a bail bond of D20,000 with one Gambian surety who should deposit his or her ID Card to the court register.
According to his particulars of offense, Momodou Alieu Bah on the 16th of July 2021 at Serrekunda did unlawfully assaulted one Mariama Jabbi by punching her in the face.
The case is been adjourned to the 30th December 2021 at 12:30 PM. Sub Inspector Jammeh represented the IGP.
