Fulbe Africa to hold cultural festivity in Farafenni

The regional Fula group dubbed Fulbe Africa will hold its nineth cultural anniversary in Farafenni, North Bank Region, from 24-25th December 2021.

The event aimed to celebrate the rich Fulbe culture and upholding traditional values for posterity and aimed at promoting the rich and beautiful cultures as well as traditions of the Fulbe people with a view to unite all Fulbe people under one umbrella.

In a statement signed by Musa Baldeh, FA Director of Communication it stated that “the first day of the event would be a cultural night but free for all participation.”

“The cultural night is free entry for all participants.  It will be characterized by cultural performances from different cultural groups in different regions and districts in The Gambia, exhibition of cultural artifacts, drama performances among other interesting activities,” he added.

The Director of Communication further gave the detail of the program for the celebration which include organized conference, fundraising night and among other important activities.

Fulbe Africa Association is a non-political, non-profitable and youth-led charitable organization registered in The Gambia since 2014. It aims at preserving and promoting the rich Pulaar culture, tradition, language and promoting unity amongst the different Fulbe dialects as well as fostering peaceful co-existence among Gambian ethnicities.
