A fire has burnt down buildings in Demba Kunda village in Upper River Region and destroyed over thirty bags of groundnut and other valuable materials including food and clothes.
The affected family, who are displaced, called for support as residents also joined them in appealing for assistance from philanthropists, NGOs and the Government institutions either in kind or cash.
Eye witnesses said the entire building was burnt to ashes with a lot of personal belongings and as well as other agricultural products were completely destroyed.
More so, two structures with more than 10 rooms and its contents, educational materials of more than 20 students were all burnt to ashes too.
