Gambian international Solomon Kamform has continued shining for his Bangladeshi side Sheikh Jamal as he scored and provided an assist during their 3-0 away win over Muktjoddha Sangsad KC in their week-2 fixtures of the Bangladesh Premier League played at the Shahid Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old scored his side’s opening goal in the 20th minute.
He also assisted one of M. Chinedu’s two goals (the third goal) in the 55th minute of the second half.
Due to his fine form since moving to Sheikh Jamal, Solomon has been given the Number 10 jersey and promoted as the team’s captain.
The former Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) player has now scored one goal and provided two assists in two matches for Sheikh Jamal in the Bangladesh top flight league this season.
Sheikh Jamal Football Club has three Gambian international players in their books in midfielder Solomon Kanform and former Real de Banjul duo Suleiman Sillah and Pa Omar Jobe.
Sheikh Jamal currently occupy top of the standings with 6 points, while Muktjoddha Sangsad KC sit at the rock-bottom (12th) position without a point after two games.
