The Organising Committee of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) informs all clubs that all matches at the Independence Stadium are hereby suspended as the Stadium will be closed for rehabilitation of the ground until the end of March 2022 and all matches will be scheduled at other available grounds accordingly.
Meanwhile, the GFF Competition Department noted that the second division matches between BK Milan vs Jam City and Real de Banjul Vs Samger FC on Tuesday were abandoned due to power outrage at the Independence Stadium.
“There have been similar incidents resulting in the cancellation of other matches recently. In line with standard practice, all clubs affected shall be duly refunded their match day expenses,” said GFF.
