Malian of Club Mara was on Sunday declared winner over Gui Gui of Yuna Nyaha Jarinyu in a controversial bout held at the Serekunda West mini-stadium.
The bout, which was named under the flagship of Modou Lamin Manneh, was organized by Amna Si Wala Promotions.
Malian of Club Mara was declared winner when his opponent Gui Gui refused to come back and fight as commanded by the referee.
Gui Gui of Yuna Nyaha Jarinyu refused to come back and fight after he was believed to have wrestled Malian down during their first tussle.
The decision made by the referee left both Gui Gui and his management and supporters disappointed.
