Gambia’s women national team coach Marima Bom Sowe has trimmed her squad to 23 players as they go to camp tomorrow ahead of next weekend’s African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifier away to Cameroon.
The two sides will face off in Yaoundé on 18th February before the Gambians host the second and deciding leg in Banjul five days later.
The winner over the two legs will qualify for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) in Morocco later this year.
The coach is boosted by the arrivals of Swedish based duo Haleema Hamilton Froiland and Ida Mbaye while the experienced duo of Adama Tamba and Penda Bah are also featured in the list.
