Gunjur Dabanani will play against Banyaka in the 2021/2022 Kombo South District (KSD) football tournament final.
The Coastal Town boys, Gunjur Dabanani book their place into the tournament’s final after defeating Kartong Folonko 1-0 in the second replayed-semifinal game played at the Sanyang football field.
Gunjur Dabanani who scored the only goal in the game through Yankuba Suwareh over-head kick, later finished the match with nine-men after both midfielders Baboucarr Bojang and Lamin Sillah were sent off for unsporting behaviours.
Their opponent, Kartong Folonko tried to use the numerical advantage but the Dabanani boys fought so hard to defend their lone goal.
Elsewhere, Banyaka also booked their place into the tournament’s final after beating Tujereng 1-0 in the earlier semifinal game played at the Sanyang football field.
Meanwhile, the Kombo South District Football committee is yet to schedule a date for the 2021/2022 final.
