Immigration FC has moved top of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League standings after defeating Bombada 3-1 in their week-nine fixture played at the Lives Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori on Saturday.
The Immigration side who continued with their fine form now recorded their seventh victory of the season, while Bombada inconsistency form continues after conceding their fifth defeats of the season.
Immigration FC overall registered seven wins, one draw and two losses, while Bombada conceded five defeats, two draws and three wins in ten games.
Immigration FC now moved to the top spot with 22 points, while Bombada FC dropped to twelfth position with eleven point.
Elsewhere, B.K. Milan were held to a 2-2 draw by Tallinding United in a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum on Saturday.
Both teams (B.K. Milan and Tallinding United) who were relegated from the 1st division league last season leveled on four draws and four wins each.
The Bakau Kachikally Milan (B.K. Milan) conceded one defeat after playing less game, compared to Tallinding United who conceded two defeat after playing one game more.
B.K. Milan occupy fourth position with 16 points after nine games, leveling with Tallinding United who sit fifth position also on 16 points with ten games.
Kanifing East beat Latrikunda United 2-0 in a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum on Sunday.
The Eastern boy, Kanifing has recorded their third victories of the season while Latrikunda United conceded their seventh defeats of the season.
Kanifing East overall collected three wins, five draws and two defeats, while struggling side Latrikunda United overall suffered seven losses, one draw and two wins after ten games.
Kanfing East sit 10th position with 14 points, leveling with Dibba Oil, Greater Tomorrow and B4U Kiang West respectively, while Latrikunda United occupy the rock-bottom-(18th)-position with 7 points.
Gunjur United defeated Medical FC 2-0 in a game played at the Lives Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori on Sunday.
The Coastal Town boys, Gunjur United has collected their sixth wins of the season while the Central River Region based team Medical FC suffered their third losses of the season.
Gunjur United who are in an impressive form right now recorded six wins, three draws and one defeat, while Medical FC recorded four wins, three draws and three defeats in ten games.
Gunjur United moved 2nd position in the table with 21 points, a point behind leaders while Medical FC sit 6th position with 15 points.
At the time of going to press yesterday, Monday, Red Hawks were playing against Young African at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.
Red Hawks FC sit third-from-bottom-(16th)-position with 8 points leveling with Waterside FC while Young Africans occupy tenth position with 13 points after nine games.
