Latrikunda Sabiji lawmaker explains why he deserves re-election

LatrikundaSabiji National Assembly member has explained why he should be re-elected by his constituency in the upcoming poll as he confirmed that he has lots of unfinished projects to be accomplished.

Honorable SaikouMarongtold reporters Wednesday after filing his nomination to the Independent Electoral Commission in Kanifing Office that he wants to ensure that the pending Bills in parliament are passed.

“I am coming back as a National Assembly member because during the last five years, we have passed a lot of Bills and key among those Bills are the Health Insurance Bill, Access to Information Bill and other Financial Bills,” he outlined them.

Adding “I believe coming back to the parliament will give me an opportunity for all those bills to be implemented because it is not just passing a bill and letting go but implementation is crucial. That is why I urge the people of LatrikundaSabiji to vote for me so that those uncompleted tasks could be completed, not only for the people of LatrikundaSabiji but the whole country at large.”

Meanwhile, AssanDrammeh, another NPP candidate for Bakau constituency said: “we lack a lot of facilities but with the inception of the President Adama Barrow Bakau has good roads that are linked from the crocodile pool and he also promised to do more. We have a coalition with different political parties and I am sure that I will be able to make it to the parliament. I worked with many youths and there is an association in Katchically that aims to empower youths and women.”

“My first priority will be the issue of the youths as you all know Kombo South is a touristic area and they did not have any standard infrastructure when it comes to tourism. We need high class hotels that will create employment for our youths and also to help women in their gardening,” he added.

“I will make sure I serve the country people to their best interest and vow to stand by our people. I cannot promise them anything as an individual but as a representative I will work hand in hand with the government to make sure that our people have the facility they need, people rights are protected and the world is progressing,” MomodouBojang, NPP Kombo South candidate assured his followers.
