The Chief Executive Officers of Tresor Women Warriors, Wednesday, 16th March 2022 handed over a branded new motorcycle to the Police Command of LRR Regional Station as a gesture in recognising the pivotal role PIU plays in keeping Kwinella and neighbourhood secured, calm, quiet and serene.
Tresor Women Warriors is a non-political organization established in Kiang, Kwinella few years ago to empower women’s socio-economic freedom through entrepreneurship.
Mrs Agi Kumba Daffeh during the handing over of the new motorbike said the motorbike will enhance security visibility as constant patrols required and considering the fact that, catchment areas are sparse and borders highly porous. “So, enhancing security mobility will help in the timely detection and prevention of crimes including cross border threats,” she reiterated.
On his part, Regional Commissioner of Police Lamin Banda expressed appreciation for the gesture on behalf of the Police High Command.
He described the gesture as a true and genuine manifestation of shared security partnership and further thanked the community of Kwinella for the support being rendered to the Police.
He finally commended the PIU command in Kwinella for the vibrant relationship and partnership with the communities.
