Greater Tomorrow records seventh league win, Young Africans beaten again

The West Coast Region-based team, Greater Tomorrow has recorded their seventh win of the league, while Young African were beaten again to concede their fifth defeat of the season during their week-14 fixtures of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League played on Tuesday.

Greater Tomorrow recorded their seventh win of the season after defeating Dibba Oil 3-0 in a game played at the Soma Mini-Stadium.

The North Bank Region-based team, Dibba Oil now suffered to their sixth defeat of the season.

Greater Tomorrow overall collected seven wins, two draws and four defeats after 13 matches, while Dibba Oil registered four wins, three draws and four defeats after 13 games.

The win moved Greater Tomorrow to 4 position on 23 points, leveling with Tallinding United and B4U Kiang West, while the defeat dropped Dibba Oil to 11 position on 15 points, leveling with Young Africans and Wagadu respectively.

Elsewhere, Young Africans has suffered their fifth defeat of the season after being defeated again 2-0 by Bombada in a game played at the Lives Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori.

Bombada FC now collected their fifth win of the season after drawing Latrikunda United in their previous game.

Young Africans overall collected three wins, six draws and five defeats after 14 games, while Bombada FC registered five wins, three draws and five defeats after 13 matches.

At the time of going to press yesterday, on Thursday, Red Hawks were playing against B.K. Milan at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, while Gunjur will were battling with Waterside FC at the Later Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
