Red Scorpions have extended their lead at the top of the standing after defeating Abuko United 3-1 during their rescheduled match played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum on Friday.
This is the seventh victory recorded by Jeshwang-based team, Red Scorpions, while the Abuko-based team suffered their fourth loss of the season.
Red Scorpions overall collected six wins, one draw and no defeat yet after 7 games, while Abuko United registered one win, two draws and four defeats after 7 games.
The win extended Red Scorpions lead at the top of the standings to three points with 19 points, while Abuko United occupy 6th position with 5 points.
Meanwhile, the Women’s Second Division League rescheduled match has seen Koita played a 2-2 draw against Foni Girls in a game played at the Kiti Football Field on Sunday.
Koita FC has conceded their second draw of the league, while Foni Girls FC recorded their second draw of the season.
Koita FC overall collected six win, two draws and one defeat after 9 games, while Foni Girls FC registered one win, two draws and six defeats after 9 matches.
The draw moved Koita FC to 2nd position with 20 points, while Foni Girls FC maintained their second-from-bottom (9th-position) with 5 points.
