Tallinding United recorded a victory to move 2nd position, while Medical FC recorded their sixth victory of the season in The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League week-15 fixtures played on Monday.
Last year’s first division relegated side, Tallinding United defeated Red Hawks 3-1 in a game played at the Live Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori.
The Buffer Zone boys, now registered their seventh victory of the season, while Red Hawks suffered their eighth loss of the season.
Tallinding United overall collected seven wins, five draws and suffered two defeats after 14 matches, while Red Hawks recorded three wins, three draws and conceded eight defeats after 14 games.
The triumph moved Tallinding United to 2nd position with 26 points, leveled with Gunjur United at the time of writing this report, while Red Hawks maintained their position at the relegation zone at 16th position with 12 points, leveled with Latrikunda United.
Elsewhere, Medical FC recorded their sixth win of the season after defeating struggling side Jam City 1-0 in a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.
Jam City has now suffered their tenth defeats of the season.
Medical FC overall collected six wins, three draws and suffered five defeats after 14 matches, while Jam City registered three wins, two draws and suffered ten defeats after 15 games.
The win moved Medical FC to 8th position with 21 points, while Jam City maintained their position at rock-bottom (18th-position) with 11 points.
Meanwhile, today, Wednesday, Bombada will play Gunjur United at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum; B4U Kiang West will take on Dibba Oil at the Soma Mini-Stadium and B.K. Milan will also battle it out with Kanifing East at the Live Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori.
