Suwaibou Touray, sitting Mp for Wuli East Constituency after casting his vote said to his fellow Candidates that whoever wins, should know that he or she should not be in the party seat but in the constituency seat serving national interest.

“I keep on telling them and I will tell them, irrespective of what happens whether it has gone their way or against their way they should be tolerant to each other and to promote peace in the community to ensure this process is done. This will pass but life will continue, communities will stay,”

“So, when we go to the National Assembly, we will not be pointing fingers, instead we work together and throw our party colors and we promote national interest,” he added.

Touray also said, he always tells his people to be peaceful, to be tolerant of others who are not thinking their way. Adding that this is all about democracy, and people should be tolerant to each other.

He noted that In case he wins, he will thank his people and to renew the contract that he had with them and that contract is to continue with the work that he has started in his constituency.

According to him, his main concern for this constituency for the last 5 years was to eradicate the challenge of water, the lack of water in the constituency and that has gone far almost 70% but it is still not completed so we will complete that.

However, “I also promised the security of persons and properties. I believe that if we are going to have any security reform we must be able to do away with the traditional thinking of the security of the head of state and thinking that one the head of state is secure everyone is secure,”

“Everyone in the country deserves to be secure and their properties should be secure, and that challenge is there. We must continue to pursue that in the NA so that the state takes it seriously and ensures that there are routine patrols and stations in various places. Also, the police security must have mobility to be able to move around continuously so ensure that at least people have some degree of security not only to have it but feeling that you have it,” he said.
