Tallinding United and Jam City have both recorded convincing victories during their week-18 fixtures of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League played on Monday.
Tallinding United defeated Waterside FC 2-1 during their game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The Buffer Zone boys, Tallinding United now recorded their ninth win of the season, while the Banjul-based team, Waterside conceded their tenth defeat of the season.
Tallinding United overall collected nine victories, six draws and three defeats after 18 matches, while Waterside overall recorded four wins, four draws and ten defeats after 18 games
The win moved Tallinding United top of the standings on 33 points, leveling with B.K Milan, while the defeat dropped Waterside into the relegation zone (17th) position with 16 points, leveling with Red Hawks FC.
Elsewhere, Jam City won against Red Hawks 3-1 during their week-18 fixture played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.
The Jambanjelly-based team, Jam City, now collected their fifth triumph of the season, while Red Hawks FC suffered their tenth defeat of the season.
Jam City overall earned five wins, three draws and ten defeats after 18 games, while Red Hawks FC overall registered four wins, four draws and ten defeats after 18 matches.
The victory moved Jam City to 15th position with 18 points, while Red Hawks occupied rock-bottom-(18th)-position with 16 points, leveling with Waterside FC.
