Gambian international striker Momodou Bojang scored a brace (two goals) for his Portuguese Under-23 side FC Famalicão during their 3-1 home win over Rio Avec in their week-2 fixtures of the Portuguese U23 league (Taca Revelacao) played on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old scored his side’s second and third goal in the 90+1 and 90+4 minutes of the regulation time.
The Gambia Under-20 striker Bojang has now scored six goals since moving to FC Famalicão.
The former Brikama United player turned professional after joining Portuguese side FC Famalicão after following his impressive showing at last year’s U-20 AFCON in Mauritania.
The victory moved Momodou Bojang and FC Famalicão side to 3rd position with 3 points, while Rio Ave occupied 4th position with zero points after two matches.
