Gambian International striker Dembo Darboe has guided his Belarusian side FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk 1-0 victory Gomel during their week-6 fixture of the Belarusian Premier League played at the Stadion FK Minsk on Sunday
The 23-year-old scored his side’s only goal in the 90+3 minute of the game after converting a spot kick.
The Brikama-born player, Dembo Darboe who guided Shakhtyor Soligorsk to winning the league title last season after clinching the golden boot award now got the new season started.
Darboe now scored four goals in six appearances for Shakhtyor so far.
He was also voted as Shakhtar’s March/April player of the month.
The result moved Shakhtyor to 5th position with 9th points, while Gomel occupied 9th position with 9 points after six games.
