B.K. Milan were held to a 1-1 draw by Waterside FC during their week-20 fixture match played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Tuesday.
The Bakau Kachikally Milan team (B.K. Milan) who currently sit at the top of the GFF second division league table were denied the advantage of extending their lead at the top of the table.
The Banjul-based team, Waterside FC now collected their sixth draw of the season, while B.K. Milan were forced to register their ninth draw of the league.
BK Milan overall collected nine wins, nine draws and two defeats after 20 games, while Waterside FC overall recorded four wins, six draws and ten defeats after 20 matches.
The draw maintained BK Milan at the top of the table with 36 points, after playing a game more, while the defeat also maintained Waterside FC at the relegation zone at 17th position with 18 points.
Elsewhere, Dibba Oil defeated Young Africans 2-0 during their week-20 fixture played at the Soma Mini-stadium on Tuesday.
The Lower River Region-based team, Dibba Oil now recorded their sixth win of the season, while the Banjul-based team, Young Africans suffered their eighth loss of the league.
The debutant side, Dibba Oil overall recorded six wins, four draws and ten losses after 20 games, while Young Africans overall registered four wins, eight draws and eight defeats after 20 matches.
The victory moved Dibba Oil to 12th position with 22 points, while the defeat dropped Young Africans to 14th position with 20 points.
At the time of going to press yesterday, on Wednesday, there will be three encounters in the week-20 fixtures of the Second Division League.
Wagadu were taking on B4U Kiang West at the Soma Mini-Stadium; PSV Wellingara were entertaining Kanifing East at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum and Immigration were battling it with Jam City at Basori.
