The Gambia local based national team, CHAN, will today, on Monday 16th May 2022 resume its second phase of training at the National Technical Training Center in Old Yundum.
The sessions are one of three segments to be undertaken before the international friendly to Senegal in June.
Alagie Sarr, head coach of The Gambia CHAN Team stated that after completing the first phase of the screening on Wednesday that the first three days of screen last week was perfect, noting that players played very good football together with commitment.
He added that this week is going to be their last three days training program, before their final selection ahead of their test match against Senegal.
According to him, this preparation (screening) is only for the Senegal game, which he added is geared towards assisting them (technicians) to know their team’s strength ahead of the CHAN competition.
