PSV Wellingara beat BK Milan to leapfrog in the top of the standings, while Latrikunda United recorded their sixth win of the season after defeating Jam City during their week-21 fixtures of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League played on Monday.
The Wellingara-based team, PSV defeated BK Milan 2-0 during their week-21 game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
PSV has now recorded their twelfth victory of the season, while the Bakau Kachikally Milan team (BK Milan) suffered third defeat of the season.
PSV Wellingara overall recorded twelve wins, three draws and six losses, while BK Milan overall collected nine victories, nine draws and three defeats after 12 games.
The victory leapfrogs PSV Wellingara at the top of the standings with 39 points, while BK Milan dropped to third position with 36 points.
Elsewhere, Latrikunda United registered their sixth win of the league after beating Jam City 2-1 in a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
The Sabiji-based team, Latrikunda, who were struggling during the first round of the season, seems to have found their redeem, while the Jambanjelly-based team, Jam City succumbed to their thirteen defeat of the season.
Latrikunda United overall collected six wins, five draws and ten defeats, while Jam City registered five wins, three draws and thirteen losses after 21 matches.
The triumph moved Latrikunda United to twelfth position with 23 points, while the defeat maintained Jam City at sixteen positions with 18 points.
