Musa Barrow inspires Bologna’s Serie A season ending win

Scorpion’s attacker Musa Barrow has guided Bologna to a 1-0 away win over Genoa during their Serie A final game of the season in a game played at the Luigi Ferraris on Saturday.

The 23-year-old scored his side’s only goal in the game in the 66 minutes of the second half.

Barrow, who starred during The Gambia maiden Afcon tournament in Cameroon, has scored six goals in 34 Serie A appearances for Bologna.

Musa Barrow moved from Atalanta to Bologna on loan on 17 January 2020, with an obligation to buy for a fee reported to be around €13 million.

Soon after his transfer, Barrow became the starting striker under Siniša Mihajlović and became one of their top scorers of the season despite only arriving in January.

He was signed permanently by Bologna on 2 July 2021.

Barrow scored 23 goals in 90 Serie A games since moving to Bologna in 2020.
