“Sireh served two tours of duty with the United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), where we met and another tour of duty in Afghanistan, the most volatile region in the world. From my vantage point of observing her in Darfur, I had no doubts in my mind that she would make a great and promising officer,” police said.
“She was the Officer Commanding the Peace Keeping Support Unit for many years. She uses her talents to promote the wellbeing of people, especially her female colleagues. She is one of the architects and pioneers of The Gambia Police Women Network, an idea she brought from her Peace Keeping experience.
