Underline United and Supper Life United have both booked their places into the final of the Junior Soccer Sport League final after beating Jalanbang United and Puma United respectively during a semifinal game played at the Canaan football field in Brikama, West Coast Region.
Underline United booked their place into the final after beating their arch rivals Jalanbang United 2-0 during a semifinal played last weekend.
Abdoulie Nget guided his side to victory after scoring both goals for Underline United in the 10th and 12th minutes respectively of the first half leaving the Jalanbang United fans and technician disappointed after the final whistle.
Speaking during an interview with Voice Sports, Njaga Sabally, head coach of Jalanbang United expressed satisfaction after losing the encounter against Underline United, noting that they are content with the result because his side Jalanbang United won two trophies in 2017 and 2018 in the Soccer Sport league in Brikama.
Elsewhere, Super Life United also progressed into the final after defeating their arch rivals Puma United 1-0 during the semifinal played last weekend.
Muhammed Danso scored the game’s only goal for Super Life United in the 46th minute of the game.
This was a derby game for the giant stars of Puma United who tried to level the score line but lost all their chances created during the game.
Speaking to Voice Sports, Buba Manjang Secretary General of Soccer Sport League said 24 teams were competing in the tournament, adding that as they aim for violence free tournament, their committee dealt with three cases of disciplinary conduct.
He however, urged the remaining teams to continue the discipline conduct, while aiming for a successful final in their organised tournament.
Meanwhile, Underline United will battle it out with Super Life United in the final of Soccer Sport League to be played at Canaan football field in Brikama.
