The Gambia Armed Forces FC (GAF) played a goalless draw against Wallidan during the earlier week-23 fixture of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) First Division League played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Sunday
This result now recorded both the soldiers GAF and the Blue Boys, Wallidan FC their ninth draw of the league.
Both The Gambia Armed Forces and Wallidan overall collected six wins, nine draws and seven defeats after 22 games
They both shared the same number of points, 27 each, with GAF sitting ahead in 8th position and Wallidan occupied 10th position.
Elsewhere, Banjul United defeated Brikama United 1-0 during a game played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau yesterday.
The Banjul-based team, now recorded their seventh victory of the league, while the Sateba boys, Brikama United suffered third defeat of the league.
Banjul United overall registered seven wins, eight draws and seven defeats after 22 games, while Brikama United overall collected nine victories, ten draws and three losses after 22 matches.
The victory moved Banjul United to 5 position with 29 points, while Brikama United maintained 2nd position with 37 points after playing a game more.
Meanwhile, at the time of going to press yesterday, on Monday, Samger FC were taking on Steve Biko during the earlier game at the Stadium, before Fortune FC playing against Marimoo FC during the late encounter.
