B4U Kiang West, Waterside and Greater Tomorrow have all won their Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League week-24 fixtures played at three different venues on Tuesday.
B4U Kiang West beat Red Hawks 1-0 during a game played at the Soma Mini-Stadium.
The Lower River Region-based team, B4U, now recorded their eleventh win of the league, while the Banjul-based team, Red Hawks suffered their twelfth loss of the season.
B4U Kiang West overall registered 11 wins, 5 draws and 8 defeats after 24 games, while Red Hawks FC all total recorded 7 wins, 5 draws and 12 defeats after 24 matches.
The win sent B4U Kiang West to 5th position with 38 points, while the loss dropped Red Hawks to 13th position with 26 points.
Bombada FC were beaten 2-1 by Waterside FC at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
The Brikama-based team, Bombada FC now suffered their seventh defeat of the season, while the Banjul-based team, Waterside recorded their fifth win of the season.
Bombada FC overall collected 12 victories, 4 draws and 7 losses after 23 games, while Waterside FC overall registered 5 triumphs, 6 draws and 13 defeats after 24 encounters.
The result maintained Waterside at the relegation zone (17th) position with 21 points, while Bombada FC maintained 2nd position with 40 points, leveling with Greater Tomorrow.
Elsewhere, Greater Tomorrow defeated Young Africans 3-1 in a game played at the Lives Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori.
The West Coast Region-based team, Greater Tomorrow now earned their twelfth victories of the league, while the Banjul-based team, Young Africans suffered their ninth loss of the league.
Greater Tomorrow overall gathered 12 wins, 4 draws and 8 defeats after 24 encounters, while Young Africans overall collected 5 wins, 10 draws and 9 defeats after 24 outings.
The win sent Greater Tomorrow to 3rd position with 40 points, leveling with Bombada FC, while the loss dropped Young Africans to 15th position with 25 points.
At the time of going to press yesterday, on Wednesday, Medical FC were taking on Dibba Oil at the Soma Mini-Stadium; PSV Wellingara were entertaining Jam City at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum and Gunjur United were battling it out with Jarra West at Basori.
