Jeshwang United were held to a 1-1 draw by their nearest challengers Koita FC during their week-14 fixtures played at the Kiti Football Field on Friday.
The Jeshwang-based team now recorded their second draw of the league, while Koita FC registered their fourth draw of the season.
Jeshwang United overall collected 9 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats after 13 games, while Koita FC overall recorded 8 wins, 4 draws and 1 defeat after 13 encounters.
The result maintained Jeshwang United lead at the top of the league with 29 points, one point behind Koita FC who sit 2nd position with 28 points.
Elsewhere, Future Bi thrashed Young Icons 6-1 during a game played at Kiti on Saturday.
Future Bi now collected their eighth win of the season, while struggling side Young Icons suffered their twelfth defeat of the league.
Future Bi overall recorded 8 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats after 13 games, while Young Icons overall registered 1 victory, 12 losses and no draw yet after 13 matches.
The win moved Future Bi to 3rd position with 26 points, while the defeat maintained Young Icons at the drop zone (10th) position with 3 points.
Raptim FC thumped Foni Girls 5-0 during the late encounter played at Kiti on Saturday.
The Tallinding-based team, Raptim now registered their third win of the season, while the West Coast Region-based team, Foni Girls suffered their tenth loss of the league.
Raptim FC overall collected 3 wins, 7 draws and 3 defeats after 13 matches, while Foni Girls overall registered 1 win, 2 draws and 10 losses after 13 games.
The win moved Raptim FC to 6th position with 16 points, while the loss maintained Foni Girls at the relegation zone (9th) position with 5 points.
Kintehs played a 2-2 draw against Greater Tomorrow during the earlier game played at Kiti on Sunday.
Kintehs FC now recorded their seventh draw of the league, while Greater Tomorrow recorded their fourth draw of the league.
The result levelled both teams on 16 points each, with Greater Tomorrow sitting ahead on 7th position while Kintehs occupied 8th position.
Elsewhere, Prisons defeated Lower Niumi 3-2 during the late match played in Kiti, on Sunday.
Prisons FC now collected their seventh victory of the season, while Lower Nuimi suffered their sixth defeat of the league.
The victory moved Prisons to 4th position with 23 points, while Lower Nuimi sit 5th position with 17 points.
