Rapheal Sampson of Atlantic Properties has been charged to Brikama Magistrate Court for allegedly selling a plot of land to one Alieu Badara Taal at Makubaya village in Kombo North at a tune of D35,000.
When the case was called before the presiding Magistrate Isatou Darboe on Monday, 20th June 2022, the plaintiff, Alieu Badara, told the court that he paid the accused D35,000.00 for the plot of land at Makubaya on 31st January 2022, but Rapheal Sampson was delayed to give him copies of the land documents.
“But I (Alieu Badara Taal) received the receipts of the payment of the land on time. One of my neighbours, Pierre Mendy at Brususbi helped me to purchase the land from Rapheal Sampson of Atlantic Properties and he also helped me to file this case at Brusubi Police Station where I (Alieu Badara Taal) was referred to Madinabar Police station,” he told the court.
He also highlighted that one Ebou Sonko, a police officer at Brusubi Police station confirmed the land documents to be fake at Mandinabar Police station.
However, the accused person, Rapheal Sampson of Atlantic Properties failed to appear before the Magistrate court at Brikama on Monday.
The Court hearing was adjourned to the 5th September 2022 at 10:00 am in Brikama Magistrate Court.
