Bombada FC has moved back to second position after defeating Wagadu, while BK Milan beat Red Hawks FC during the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League week-25 fixtures played on Wednesday
Bombada moved back to second position after a 2-1 victory over Wagadu during a game at the Soma Mini-stadium.
The Brikama-based team, Bombada FC now collected their thirteen win of the season, while the Upper River Region-based team, Wagadu suffered their twelfth defeat of the league.
Bombada FC overall collected thirteen victories, four draws and seven defeats after 25 games, while Wagadu overall registered five wins, eight draws and twelve losses after 25 matches.
The victory moved Bombada FC back to 2nd position with 43 points, leveling with Greater Tomorrow and BK Milan respectively, while the defeat dropped Wagadu to 16th position with 23 points.
Kanifing East played a 1-1 draw against Jam City at Lives Your Dreams Sports Complex in Basori.
The Eastern boys, Kanifing now forced to collect their twelfth draw of the season, while struggling side Jma City registered their fifth draw of the league.
Kanifing East overall collected nine wins, twelve draws and four defeats after 25 games, while the Jambanjelly boys, Jam City overall collected five wins, five draws and fifteen losses after 25 games.
The result put Kanifing East to 5th position with 39 points, while Jam City remained at the rock bottom on 18th position with 20 points.
BK Milan beat the Red Hawks 2-1 at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
The Bakau Kachikally-based team, now collected their eleventh victory of the season, while Red Hawks suffered their thirteen defeat of the league.
BK Milan overall collected eleven wins, ten draws and four defeats after 25 encounters, while Red Hawks overall recorded seven victories, five draws and thirteen defeats after 25 matches.
The victory moved BK Milan to 4th position with 43 points, while the defeat dropped Red Hawks to 13th position with 26 points.
At the time of going to press yesterday, on Thursday, Young Africans were taking on Latrikunda United at the Late Ousman Saho Field and Jarra West were entertaining Waterside FC at the Soma Mini-Stadium.
