Boy Nyang Knocks Boy Jola down the ground in stunning grand combat

Boy Nyang of Serrekunda Mbolo knocked Boy Jola of Jabang United down the ground during the grand fight of the event named after Honorable Sheriff Sarr, National Assembly Member for Jeshwang Constituency.

The grand fight organized by Amna Si Wala Promotion together with other contests was held at the Serekunda West field yesterday, on Sunday.

The grand fight that lasted for 4 minutes saw the Serekunda Mbolo wrestler, Boy Nyang unleashed a heavy loaded right hand punch on Boy Jola’s face, sending the Jabang United wrestler to the ground, leaving many wrestling pundits and enthusiasts wondering how it happened.

In the build up to the bout, many tipped Boy Jola as favorite because of the difference in size of the body and height but Boy Nyang defied all odds in defeating Boy Jola.

In the earlier bouts, Gaindeh Geuche of Tysinger Family defeated Sampi of Tallinding Japoo through warning; Bebe Chart of Club Sukutankulu wrestle down Tik Tok of Tallinding United; Bebe Chart of Paradise Mbolo also won against AK of Club Jeff Jel through warning; Bebe Cash of Club Mara also declared winner against Rasta of Yundum Mbolo through warning while Yareh of Serekunda Mbolo defeated Kargo of Brikama Mbolo before Semil of Ebo Town Mbolo won Barmol of Club Yanda Mbaye also through warning to capped off the freestyle wrestling contests.

Elsewhere, in wrestling with boxing, Dolf of Club Jabang Mbolo and Gui Gi of Club Sanchaba Ham Sa Chossan both made an incredible attack to each other which made fans excited as a result of the fight.

However, the bout ended prematurely when Dolf dislocated his shoulder during the intense bout forcing the referee to declare Gui Gi the winner in accordance with the rules.

Meanwhile, in the special combat, Lacjorr of Bundung Nusrat was declared the winner following the disqualification of Harr Yala of Club Kerr Serign Mbolo after the latter punched the former several times during their pre-bout preparations.

The event was attended by thousands of people including the GWA, EU funded Project Leader Chris Addy-Nayo, Honorable Sheriff Sarr, Mr Marcel Mendy amongst others.
