Stockholm and Badala FC became the latest teams to book their places into the third round of the Serrekunda West Nawettan qualifiers after eliminating Serrekunda Central and German Boys respectively, during a game played last Thursday.
Stockholm defeated Serrekunda Central 4-2 in a post-match penalty shootout after a goalless draw in regulation time.
The Ebo Town-based team, Stockholm has now continued their unbeaten run after now making their second participation into the Serrekunda West Nawettan qualifiers.
Stockholm, who eliminated Volcano FC during their earlier knockout game, now progressed into the third round of the tournament following their latest victory over Serrekunda Central.
Serrekunda Central, who won their opening game (5-3 on post-match penalty shootout) against Laha Bi are now eliminated out of the qualifying round.
Elsewhere, Badala beat German Boys 1-0 during the late encounter played on Thursday.
Badala FC, who eliminated U15 FC during their earlier knockout game, now advanced into the third round of the tournament following their latest victory over German Boys.
German Boys, who recorded a 1-0 win over Benfica FC during the opening game are now sent out of the qualifying round.
Meanwhile, at the time of going to press yesterday, on Tuesday, Bundas Kids were taking on California in the earlier game, before West Coast battling it out with Cosmos in the late encounter played at the Serrekunda West Mini-Stadium.
