California and Cosmos FC became the latest teams to book their places into the third round of the Serrekunda West Nawettan qualifiers after eliminating Bundas Kids and West Coast respectively, during a game played at the Serekunda West Mini-Stadium yesterday, on Tuesday.
California defeated Bundas Kids 1-0 in the earlier game played on Tuesday.
California, who eliminated Super Eagles FC in a post-match shootout during their earlier knockout game, now progressed into the third round of the tournament following their latest victory over Bundas Kids.
Bundas Kids, who also won their opening game (4-2 on post-match penalty shootout) against Panthers FC, are now eliminated out of the qualifying round.
Elsewhere, Cosmos also eliminated West Coast 5-4 in a post-match penalty shootout following a goalless draw in the regulation time on Tuesday.
Cosmos, who eliminated Fire Stone 3-1 in a post-match shootout following a 1-1 draw during their opening game, now book a place into the third round of the qualifiers after their latest victory over West Coast on Tuesday.
West Coast, who also eliminated Kotu Future Stars on a 4-2 post-match penalty shootout in their opening game, are also shown the exit door in the ongoing SWESDO nawettan qualifiers on Tuesday.
