Team Rhino FC recorded their seventh victory of the league, while Steve Biko moved to fourth position in the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) First Division League following their wins over Marimoo and Gamtel FC respectively, during games played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Sunday.
Team Rhino FC defeated Marimoo FC 2-0 during the earlier week-22 fixtures played at the Stadium.
Buba Hydara opened the scoring for the Rhinos in the 63rd minute of the game, before Dodou Touray added the second goal in the 81st minute of the second half.
The Nema Kukung based team, Rhino, now collected their seventh win of the league, while the Manjai based team, Marimoo FC suffered their seventh defeat of the league.
Team Rhino overall registered 7 wins, 13 draws and 6 defeats after 26 matches, while Marimoo FC overall collected 7 victories, 12 draws and 7 losses after 26 games.
The win moved Team Rhino FC to 8th position with 34 points, leveling with GAF, while the defeat dropped Marimoo FC to 9th position with 33 points.
Elsewhere, Steve Biko defeated Gamtel FC 2-1 during the late week-26 match played at the Independence.
The Bakau based team, Steve Biko now collected their tenth win of the league, while the Telecom Giants, Gamtel FC suffered their twelfth loss of the league.
Steve Biko overall collected 10 triumphs, 9 draws and 7 losses after 26 matches, while Gamtel FC overall recorded 7 wins, 7 draws and 12 defeats after 26 games.
The victory moved Steve Biko to 4th position with 39 points, leveling with Wallidan FC, while the loss dropped Gamtel FC to 13th position with 28 points, leveling with 28 points.
