Gunjur United and Red Hawks have both recorded a win in their Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League week-28 fixtures played on Monday.
Gunjur United beat Young Africans 4-1 in a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
The Coastal Town boys, Gunjur now recorded their twelfth win of the league, while the Banjul based team, Young Africans suffered their tenth defeat of the competition.
Gunjur United overall collected 12 victories, 8 draws and 8 defeats after 28 games, while Young Africans overall collected 7 wins, 11 draws and 10 losses after 28 matches.
The victory moved Gunjur United to 6th position with 44 points, leveling with BK Milan, while the loss put Young Africans to 12th position with 32 points, leveling with Medical FC.
Elsewhere, Dibba Oil played a 1-1 draw against Immigration FC in a match played at the Soma Mini-Stadium in LRR.
The Lower River Region-based team, Dibba Oil now collected their sixth draw of the league, while Immigration FC also collected their tenth draw of the tournament.
Dibba Oil overall registered 12 wins, 6 draws and 10 defeats after 28 games, while Immigration FC overall gathered 12 victories, 10 draws and 6 losses after 28 encounters.
The result put Dibba Oil at 7th position with 42 points, leveling with B4U Kiang West, while Immigration occupied 4th position with 46 points, leveling with Bombada FC.
Red Hawks FC won 1-0 against Jarra West in the earlier game at the Stadium.
The Banjul-based team, Red Hawks now collected eighth wins of the league, while the Lower River Region based team, Jarra West suffered their tenth defeat of the competition.
Red Hawks FC overall collected 8 wins, 5 draws and 15 defeats after 28 matches, while Jarra West overall registered 11 wins, 7 draws and 10 losses after 28 games.
The victory moved Red Hawks FC at 14th position with 29 points, while the defeats dropped Jarra West to 10th position with 40 points, levelling with Kanifing East
Tallinding United and Kanifing East both played a 1-1 draw in the late encounter at the Stadium.
The Buffer Zone boys, Tallinding United now registered their eighth draw of the league, while the Eastern boy, Kanifing, now collected their thirteenth draw of the league.
Tallinding United overall collected 10 wins, 8 draws and 9 defeats after 27 games, while Kanifing East overall recorded 9 wins, 13 draws and 6 losses after 28 matches.
The result put Tallinding United at 11th position with 38 points, while Kanifing East occupied 9th position with 40 points, leveling with Jarra West.
