Serrekunda West Sports Development Organisation (SWESDO) nawettan qualifiers has continued gaining momentum after completing their third round fixtures with eight teams already booked their places in the fourth and final round of the qualifiers competition.
All the matches of the SWESDO qualifiers are played at the Serrekuunda West Mini-Stadium.
Celtic became the first team to book their place into the fourth round stage of the qualifiers after defeating California FC 5-4 on penalties following a goalless draw in the regulation time during the earlier game played on Sunday.
Celtic now through to the next round, while California are being sent packing out of the tournament.
Elsewhere, EFFA Lions eliminated Winged Dreams 4-1 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the regulation time during the second game played on Sunday.
EFFA Lions who registered their third straight win of the tournament book their places into the next round of the tournament, while Winged Dreams crashed out of the tournament.
LK Old Hands beat Parliament 1-0 during the earlier game played on Tuesday.
The Old Hands side who recorded their third victory now progressed into the final stage of the tournament, while Parliament are knocked out of the competition
Badala beat Real de Jeshwang on 5-4 penalties following a 1-1 draw in the final regulation during the late game played on Tuesday.
Despite the defeat, Real de Jeshwang followed Badala to go through to the next round of the tournament after occupying one of the best-losers spots.
Cosmos defeated Southern FC 2-1 during the earlier game played on Wednesday.
Cosmos, who registered their third win of the qualifiers, booked their place into the next round of the tournament, while Southern FC crashed out of the tournament.
Sankung Sillah eliminated Stockholm FC on 5-4 penalties following a 2-2 draw in the regulation time in the late kickoff of the game.
Despite the defeat, Stockholm FC joined Sankung Sillah into the final round stage of the qualifiers after being given one of the best-losers spots.
Meanwhile, the Serrekunda West Nawettan qualifiers third round fixtures set to commence on Saturday, Cosmos will be taking on Real de Jeshwang in the earlier game, before Badala FC battling it out against Sankung Sillah FC in the late encounter.
Stockholm FC will be playing against Celtic in the first match on Sunday, before EFFA Lions taking on LK Old Hands in the second match on the same day.
