The Gambia local-based team, CHAN will today, on Tuesday play against Guinea Bissau CHAN Team during their 2nd leg of the CHAN Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers for Algeria 2023, to be played at the Stade de Marrakech in Morocco.
Today’s eencounter which is termed as the deciding match will be played at 3pm.
The Gambia defeated Guinea Bissau CHAN 1-0 during their 1st leg match played at the Stade de Marrakech in Morocco on Saturday
Elite United’s striker Alieu Barry scored the only goal of the match for Scorpions to help The Gambia local based team to collect the maximum points against their opponents Bissau.
“We don’t say that we are better than Guinea Bissau, because they played very well during the second period. But we are going to come up with a different strategy in the second game. We’re not going to expose the team rather to base it on counter-attack and Insha’Allah we will come victorious on Tuesday, tomorrow,” said The Gambia CHAN Team Coach Alagie Sarr.
