PSV Wellingara have reclaimed back top spot of the table after defeating Young Africans, while Waterside FC recorded their sixth win of the season after beating B4U Kiang West during their week-29 fixtures of the Second Division League played on Monday.
PSV Wellingara beat Young Africans 3-0 during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.
The Wellingara-based team, PSV, now recorded their seventeenth victory of the league, while the Banjul-based team, Young African suffered their eleventh defeat of the league.
PSV Wellingara overall collected 17 wins, 5 draws and 7 defeats after 29 matches, while Young Africans overall registered 7 wins, 11 draws and 11 losses after 29 games.
The victory moved PSV Wellingara back to the top of the table with 56 points, while Young Africans occupied 12th position with 32 points, leveling with Medical FC.
Waterside FC beat B4U Kiang West 2-0 during a game played at the Banjul Mini-Stadium.
The Banjul-based team, Waterside FC, now recorded their sixth victory of the season, while the Kianger based team, B4U, suffered their ninth loss of the league.
Waterside FC overall collected 6 wins, 8 draws and 15 defeats after 29 matches, while B4U Kiang West overall registered 11 wins, 9 draws and 9 defeats after 42 points after 29 matches.
The result maintained Waterside at the relegation zone (17th) position with 26 points, while B4U Kiang West sit 9th position with 42 points.
BK Milan drew 1-1 against Gunjur United during a game played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini-Stadium.
The Bakau-based team, BK Milan now recorded their thirteenth draw of the league, while Gunjur United now collected their ninth draw tournament.
BK Milan overall collected 11 wins, 13 draws and 5 defeats after 29 matches, while Gunjur United overall registered 12 victories, 9 draws and 8 losses after 29 games.
The draw put BK Milan at 5th position with 46 points, one point ahead of Gunjur United, who occupied 7th position with 45 points, leveling with Dibba Oil.
