Berewuleng FC were on Sunday crowned champions of the West Coast Regional Third Division League tournament after defeating GCAA/BIA 4-2 in post-match penalty shootout following a goalless draw during a game played at the Brikama Box-Bar Mini-sstadium.
The game that climaxed the end of the competition organised by the Region’s football association, attracted thousands of fans and enthusiasts from Brikama and its surrounding villages.
The first Vice President of the GFF, Mr. Bakary K Jammeh presided over the match as the special guest.
Bere will now compete against the champions from Kanifing and Banjul for the urban triangular for the solitary spot in the national second division league.
