Sulayman Mboge vows to live up to expectation or resign honourably

Mr. Sulayman Mboge, the Finance and operation manager of Radville farms, who is the newly elected person to represent the Agriculture, Agro-Industry Manufacturer, and Export category at the level of the GCCI Board has strongly vowed to serve his term to the best of his ability in the interest of farming communities or honourably resign if he fails to.

 

 He made this promise in an interview with this medium shortly after the end of the AGM and the election of a new board for GCCI held over the weekend. He described his position as a big trust bestowed on him by the farming community and he will do everything possible to maintain that trust, otherwise, failure to represent their interest, he will honourably resign from his position.

He said people are put in a position due to trust and to serve their interest which is all about trust and in return one should live up to expectations. 

Mr. Mboge also promised not to betray the trust bestow on him by the farming community in serving their interest at the level of the GCCI board. 

He, therefore, called for a team spirit and collaboration to work towards improving the agricultural sectors of this country, saying this is a rare opportunity for the farming community to have a representative on the GCCI board. While he seized the opportunity to express his appreciation and profound gratitude for the trust bestowed on him by the farming community to represent them in addressing their plights at the level of the GCCI Board.

He said his portfolio is not only on agriculture but binding on exports and immediately after the inauguration of the new board, “I will try to have a meeting with all those sectors under my purview and discuss with them as what are the way forward in the interest of everyone.”

Mboge disclosed that he didn’t take the position because of money but because of the trust bestowed on him by the farming community to represent them fully in serving their interest at the GCCI Board. However, “I would honour that trust and make sure the farming community is well represented at the GCCI board. I will live up to expectation in the best interest of the people that I am representing at the level of the GCCI Board,” he further promised.
