The Ministry of Health in its latest released national situation reports issued 451st covering from 1st September to 9th September 2022 has disclosed one new Covid-19-related death and twenty registered new cases.
This latest situational report disclosed that the registered one new Covid-19-related death brought the total death to 372 while the twenty new cases registered made the total Covid-19 confirmed cases in the country stand at 12,415.
In detail, “one (1) new COVID-19-related death registered, bringing the total to 372 (Crude Case-Fatality Ratio, 3.0%). Twenty (20) new cases were registered (Cumulative cases of 12,415). A total of 5, 2, 5, 0, 1, 3, 4, 0, and 0 cases were reported from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th September 2022 respectively.
“The test positivity rate is 2.9% (20/700), NPHL – 644(19 positives), and MRCG – 57(1 Positive)
“No new case is currently on oxygen therapy Forty-six (46) cases were discharged after at least 10 days of monitoring from the day they tested positive but evaded institutional isolation and none from COVID-19 treatment centers,” the statement added.
