Manchester United Booked Semi-final Place in Tujereng   Nawettan

By Nicholas Bass

Manchester United has booked their place into the Tujereng Sports Nawettan after defeating United Star by 1 goal to zero at the Tujereng football field last weekend.
Sanity Jabang scored the game’s only goal in the 85 minutes of the game for Manchester United.

United Stars failed in all efforts to make use out of their chances leaving their fans and technical team disappointed with an attempt to attack the central referee after their goal was canceled by him.  Dawda Kujabi, assistant coach of United Stars, described the game as unfair because the central referee who denied them a clear goal frustrated our fans.

Mamina Kujabi, captain of United Stars noted that their goal was denied by the central referee which made their fans invade the football field and resulted in violence.

“The central referee denied us the goal and he claimed that it was a handball against our striker which resulted in the cancellation of our goal” Kujabi noted.

For his part, Musa Jatta the public relation officer (PRO)  of Tujereng Sports said that the central referee canceled the goal of the United Star due to the handball against their player but this team concluded that it was not fair.

“Yahya Kandeh, one of the fans of United Star invaded the field before the end of the game which worsened the situation, “he noted.
However, Tujereng Sports Committee are still discussing a disciplinary measure to be taken against   United Stars for attempting to fight the central referee and I believe they might be fined for such misbehavior,”  PRO noted.
