The Foroyaa Workers Association regrets to announce the demise of our Vice Chairperson, Alpha A. Bah. The sad news occurred around 5 am on Thursday. He was laid to rest on Friday afternoon.
Bah is a founding member or the Association and has served the role of Vice Chairperson from 2018-2020 and 2020-2022. Bah was the webmaster of Foroyaa and the IT specialist.
The whole Foroyaa Workers join the Bah Kunda family, his friends and the People of Manjai to mourn his demise.
Halifa Sallah, a Board Member of Foroyaa said Alpha Bah is a true servant of the people.
Sallah said: “Alpha dedicated his whole life in serving people. He was a man of truth. It is not easy to see people like him in the society.”
Amie Sanneh, the Chairperson of FoWA described Alpha Bah as hardworking and dedicates person who is always active in serving people.
Sanneh said: “He was a friend to all. He was a brother and a friend. He was humble and kind hearted person. The whole office will miss him.”
He was also a member of the Gambia Press Union. We will continue to miss him. May Allah admit him in paradise.
