Ndey Fatou Jabang is a creative Director,Actress, Media personality, 2019 Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni and the only dance entrepreneur in the Gambia was awarded as an ‘outstanding African Woman in Entertainment 2022’ during the 5th Africa Women conference 2022 – held in The Gambia recently.
Theme: Accelerating Women’s Economic Empowerment and Gender inclusion through the Media, ICT & Entertainment Industries.
Africa Women Conference (AWC) is convened by the Helpline Foundation for the Needy Abuja, an NGO in ECOSOC consultative status with the United Nations and Echoes Africa Initiatives, New York, and Country Associates Network (CANET).
The conference is one of the most important annual gatherings of experts, institutions, corporate organizations, and individuals promoting the growth, stability, and development of African women.
Ndey Fatou Jabang, dedicates the award to all women in the Creative Industries in The Gambia and Africa at large.
Founder & CEO of Flex Fuzion Dance Academy and Entertainment, The Gambia Premier Dance Company and school.
She is the founder of Dance Gambia Championship, Dance Awards Gambia and the Co – Founder of Kids Glitz and Glamorous Talent/Modeling Agency, grooming children through arts.
Ndey Fatou is the Current President of the Dance Association of The Gambia, Vice President of The Gambia Union of Theatre, President of the Gambia’s National Creative Industries roadmap core team and the Assistant Program Officer of the U.S Exchange Programs Network in The Gambia.
