Sarjo Sowe who doubles as the Head of the West Coast Football Competition and the 3rd Vice President of the West Coast Football Committee in his anticipation of a successful Zonal competition outlined that his committee is aiming at raising funds for the development of the football field within the region.
Speaking on the upcoming West Coast Zonal Football final scheduled for Sunday, 6th November 2022 noted that it will be a historic moment to watch Gunjur, the defending champions playing against Brikama who was in 3rd place in last year’s competition.
‘’I am hoping to witness a derby game between Gunjur and Brikama and I believe hundreds of people will come to watch this encounter’’, the head of competition WCRFC noted.
He called on business owners to advertise their products with them and urged philanthropies, NGOs, companies, and individuals to support them in developing local football fields in the West Coast Region.
