The Gambia National Olympic Committee on Monday opened a five- day Sports administration course for young sports administrators from affiliated national sports associations.
Speaking at the Olympic house in Bakau, the 2nd vice president of the GNOC Ousman Wadda reiterated the NOC’s continuous support of national sports associations.
“This course is designed to develop the capacity of the leaders in sports for the delivery of ethical sports, and to promote and sustain good governance in sports within the Olympic and sport movement in The Gambia,’ Wadda stated.
‘It will also assist in strengthening decision-making and provide best practices, especially within GNOC and its constituencies,’ he concluded.
The courses are being administered by two experienced sports veterans Mr. Lamin Sanneh and Ebou Joof.
