“The National Audit Office had submitted a draft final report in November 2022 for management’s response which has been achieved. The final report covering the period January 2019 to December 2021 is expected to be submitted by the NAO soon, and will determine the next appropriate steps for those found wanting,” release explained.
All managers and subordinate staff within the relevant units of the Traffic Department who have responsibility in delivery processes, the release added have been placed under interdiction pending the outcome of the audit report.
“The alleged culprits will be duly processed once the final audit report is submitted.
