Tujereng Sports Committee yet to ascertain cause of conflict between QPR and MC teams

The Tujereng Sports Committee still finding it difficult to establish facts that led to the stoppage of the last game between the Queen Park Rangers and Man City teams.

Musa Jatta, the PRO of the Tujereng Sports Committee disclosed in an interview with Voice Sports that they are yet to ascertain “what led to the stoppage of the last game between Queen Park Rangers and Man City in the elimination quarter-final tournament.”

He noted that their constitution gives provisions for the points to be awarded to the team that is guiltless while the offenders shall forfeit their points.

Meanwhile, Ensa Jaiteh, a player of Queen Park Rangers assaulted one Ismaila Jaiteh during the game.

However, the referee in his report said that he wanted to book Ensa Jaiteh a red card but the fans invaded the football pitch.

“We want to analyse which fans invaded the football pitch that made the central referee call off the game. This critical matter requires us to consult those in higher authority for a balanced and fair judgment,” Tujereng Sports PRO pointed out.

However, the former Queen Park Rangers Coach, Musa Jatta, who now occupied the PRO position served his team for seven years but still insists that he is not favouring Queen Park Rangers.

According to a reliable source, Fabakary Manerah, the chairman of Tujereng Sports gave his deputy, Dembo Jatta to chair the first meeting regarding the disciplinary measures that should be taken against both teams where 90 percent of the executive sanctioned Queen Park Rangers to pay a fee of D2500 while their opponents Man City were asked to pay a fine of D2000 for invading the football pitch during the incident.

The source went on to reveal that 90 percent of the executive agreed to give the 3 points to Man City which is supported by the constitution. The source added that Fabakary Manerah, the president of Tujereng Sports opposes the executive’s verdict based on his personal opinion.

When asked if the said chairman should be impeached noted that 9 teams have signed his impeachment for better Sports in the community, the source added.
