The leader and Secretary General of All Peoples Party has vowed to fight corruption and skyrocketing of basic commodities when elected into office in the next presidential election in 2026.
Addressing supporters at the party’s congress in Jarra Soma the party leader, Ebou Gaye also promised to rekindle public interest in politics with commitment to cater for the welfare of the citizens.
In his quest to reshape the country’s political arena, the party leader also promised to make the party more inclusive with no tribal discord with an open door police in order to address the needs of the electorates. The party leader highlighted some of the devastating issues the citizens are facing such as the uncontrollable price of basic commodities and vowed to stabilise the situation when elected into office, while promising to reshape the country’s foreign policy.
Former party leader, Gumbo Touray also took to the podium to address the jubilant militants expressing dismay at the rate of unemployment and the national debt of the country which he said is unacceptable. He postulated that security should be a fundamental concern for every government to provide adequate security to citizens without fear.
Amul Nyassi former National Assembly member for Foni Kansala entreated citizens to be law abiding in making sure there is peace in the country.
