Steve Biko, opened the 2023 Gambia Football Federation and Baluwo partnership First Division League with a win over newly promoted PSV Wellingara on Sunday at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum.
Adama Bojang, open scored the match’s only goal in the 32nd minute with a strike earning all three points for his team.
PSV Wellingara made desperate efforts to equalize and come from behind and win but the efforts were not enough.
At Box Bar Mini Stadium Rhino came from behind to defeat Brikama 2-1. Brikama opened the scoring 12 minutes through Mustapha Drammeh’s spot kick but the visitors came from behind courtesy of Alagie Sallah’s converted kick that added up Ebrima Sambou’s earlier equalizer to make it 2-1.
