Samger FC, Greater Tomorrow Played draw

Samger FC and  Greater Tomorrow played 1-1 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama on Tuesday in match day 6 of Week one in the Gambia Football Federation  First Division League in partnership with Baluwo.

Abdoulie Baldeh scored the opener from a converted kick at the brink of the first half for Greater Tomorrow.

Samger’s Omar Jarju made it 1-1 in the 56 minutes. All efforts from both sides to win the match didn’t yield any effort as both teams ended their opening with a draw and held on to one point each.

Despite many attempts to increase their scoring, both sides nullified each other’s advantage and thus ended their first outing in the new Season with a 1-1 draw and shared the points

On Match day 5, Fortune United defeated Banjul United one goal to zero at the Brikama Box-Bar Mini Stadium. A goal from Alieu Barry was enough to give Fortune United all three points in their opening game of the Gambia Football Federation First Division League in partnership with Baluwo.

Alieu Barry, of Fortune United, told a journalist that it was not an easy game against Banjul United, noting that despite the struggle his side collected all three points

“Moving from Elite United to Fortune is a choice I made and I am hoping to maintain my performance, he said.

Meanwhile, on another match day,   GAF was humiliated by Real De Banjul by 4 goals to 1 while Falcons defeated Waa Banjul by 1 goal to nail.
